Dr. Julie M. Kreitzberg, a Rockland County native, attained her undergraduate degree in Biology from Lehigh University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. While at Lehigh, she received the Presidential Scholarship, a one-year full scholarship awarded to Lehigh students with outstanding academic achievements. She then graduated with clinical honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kreitzberg continued her dental training at the Mount Sinai Hospital, where she completed a postdoctoral dental residency and gained extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, rotary endodontics and emergency dentistry. In addition to practicing dentistry, she has taught pre-clinical dentistry at the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine.
Coming from a family of dental professionals, as both her grandfather and great-grandfather were dentists, Dr. Kreitzberg learned early on of the positive impact of gentle and compassionate dental care. In addition, Dr. Kreitzberg designed a research study on taste sensation, which was published in the March 2016 issue of the scientific research journal, Physiology & Behavior. A firm believer in research-based dentistry, Dr. Kreitzberg is dedicated to treating her patients with the most modern and up-to-date dental techniques.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kreitzberg loves Pure Barre exercise classes, and exploring the beautiful parks and beaches of Long Island with her husband and twin daughters.
